it is going to take many lunches paid for out of your own pocket as well as a good marketing strategy to really sell your company to them. Statistics talk… a lot, so strategize a good growth plan and really show people where your company is going to go both theoretically as well as mathematically. Start with talking to local papers, news, magazines…. see if what you do is article worthy. they love to publish anything that looks like great job growth in their area. Many of my business partners read local business journals to find good early investment opportunities and then contact the company owners to get the whole story.

On average, favourites win about 30% of races but if you restrict it to certain months, say for instance the months of June, July and August for the Flat then you'll find that a higher proportion of fancied runners win races because the ground is usually good or good/firm and, in theory, horses should be at their peak level of fitness.

when placing bets at the track you must take many factors into consideration, not simply the odds; you must look at the horses, their racing records, times, track conditions, workouts, who is the jockey/driver, etc; i have seen way too many races where people will bet a lot of money on certain horses when they know a different horse is going to win, then they bet trifectas and superfectas that have amazing payoffs
